I use Windows 10 and I just received my audiobox USB brand new and right off the bat it struggles to provide any playback for anything outside of a DAW. Universal control has been installed and uninstalled multiple times, my chipset drivers and my bios are both up to date. I have taken all the recommended steps regarding USB ports and always on power settings. When plugged into USB 2.0 ports the device is unrecognized and when plugged into USB 3.0 ports the only way to make the device work is to unplug it and plug it back in until I get lucky. Oddly the most consistent way for me to get the audio interface to provide playback from my computer is to uninstall the Universal Controller, however then I cannot use the ASIO driver capabilities in any DAW. Another interesting quirk is that it causes media to freeze, for example Youtube will not play anything when the audiobox is connected and selected as my output device. I would appreciate any help, but at this point returning it seems like the best option for me.
