If you are doing a lot with MIDI it might be beneficial to have a second monitor that is placed vertically instead of the usual horizontal setup.
Since pictures speak a thousand words:
In this way you have a much larger view across octaves which is very useful for people like me working with a virtual orchestra. There is also much more space for velocity, modulation etc etc...
But that side bar on the left is taking a lot of unused space that could be put to much better use. I'd rather have more space on the timeline than staring at dark gray pixels.
Can this side bar be made collapsible - in the same sense as the track inspector, for example?
