Can I connect a Keyboad (synthesizer) to audiobox usb 96 , using the INST front pannel, is it safe?. Thank you

I have a Korg Kross 61 keyboad and  I am not sure if I can connect it to the  AuDIOBOX USB96.  The manual does not explain if the inst pannel can be used  as a line connection as well. THANK YOU
