Why am I only getting the default sounds with Notion 5?

My previous computer having been frelled by Microsoft trying to upgrade it to Windows 10 without telling me, is now running Linux.  Unfortunately Notion doesn't run on Linux so I've had to buy a new computer, HP Pavillion, Windows 10, AMD quad core, 8 gig RAM, just for you.  Things have not gone well...

I started by loading Notion 4 from my CD copy.  It loaded fine except that as I subsequently discovered, it had loaded into 'Program files' rather than 'Program files (64)'.  It didn't work of course, but I already knew it wouldn't, next I came to the Presonus website and downloaded Notion 5 and the complete soundfiles bundle again.  Notion 5 loaded perfectly except that, onceagain, it loaded into the 32 bit 'Program files', even though it said it was loading into the 64 bit folder and I okayed it.

Notion 5 is now running perfectly within itself and I can both listen to old files and write new ones, the problem is I'm only getting some of sounds (Maybe just the defaults, I don't know).  They downloaded correctly according to the computer, and landed in my downloads folder as expected.  There I clicked on each of the bundles and they did...something...  Going to the Notion 5 folder I can see a file called 'Sounds' and clicking through to C:\Program Files\Notion 5\Sounds\Bundled I can see a list of the sounds I should be getting but there are discrepancies, e.g. 'Power Toms' are in the list of sounds, but they don't show up in Notion's 'Score setup', on the other hand all of the 'jazz' instruments are shown in setup along with vocals and sound effects, but none of them are in my supposedly complete list of sounds.

So is the complete bundle not actually complete or has something gone wrong somewhere?  I was looking forward to upgrading to Notion 6 but I think I'd like to sort this out first.

Some of the sounds in Notion 4, 5, and 6 are available for purchase in our web store.  They are called Expansion Sounds.  Here is a link to our Expansion Sounds in the Presonus Shop.  https://shop.presonus.com/products/software/notion-expansion-bundles

If for some reason, the Bundled Sounds that come with the program are not working for you, you will want to take a look at this article from our knowledge base.
