How can I control an Aux mix on the RM16Ai when used as a stagebox?

I currently have a 24.4.2 and a RM16AI (used as a stagebox).  I would like to use an AUX out on the RM16 to feed my subs.  I am using AUX 10 on the SL to do this right now but have to run it through an analog snake from the SL to the stage.  I have tried (without success) to get the RM to send any signal out of any of the AUX sends via UC Control or QMix.  I would like to be using the digital snake entirely so that the analog can be removed.  Can anyone help with this?

Stagebox mode "mirrors" the outputs of your SL 2442AI and there is no processing happening on your RM16AI except gain and A/D conversion of the input and output channels. In Remote IO/Monitor mode RM feeds its 8 mix outs, but the mains (left/right and mono) are the mirrored signals from SL. This works only in an AVB network (mixer connceted to an AVB switch).

This document describes the basic settings (with an AVB network established): http://support.presonus.com/hc/en-us/articles/210048473-Stagebox-Modes-UC-Surface-1-5-Milestone-Update-.

One more answer to this question: Auxes 9 and 10 of SL2442AI have no physical output on RM16AI, so they can only be used local (FOH). A RM32AI would give you access to SL's auxes 1 to 10 and its 4 subgroups. Mix outs 15 and 16 remain unused in stagebox mode.
