some wifi has in addition to the password, the requirement for the router admin to enter the MAC address of whatever computer/phone/pad or in this case a presonus 16.4.2Ai. into the wireless router to allow network access on that device.

this is why i need my 16.4.2Ai's MAC address...

Usually the router handles the IP addresses, not the mixer. You may also have a look at you mixer's systems menu page 3.
