Please consider adding the "X-OR" solo mode (from ProTools) into S1!
What PreSonus could (easily?) do in S1 is make the "X-OR" mode the default solo behavior.
Meaning, no [Alt] or [Option] key needs to be held down to enable it.
If you did desire to "solo" more than one channel within S1,
THEN we could press the [Alt] or [Option] key to allow that "multi-solo" feature.
Make sense, no?
This S1 Feature Request stems from my desire to only have to press the [s] key once
(on my KORG nanoKONTROL2 control surface.)
This streamlines auditioning each channel by only having to press the [s] button once
(to listen to its respective channel) then pressing a different [s] button
(to 'cancel' and [mute] the previously 'solo'ed channel and activate the newly 'solo'd' channel)

This solo mode is one of my favourite features. I use it all the time, as unless you use a control surface, it can be awkward to make comparisons between two tracks. Comparison is essential when mixing and I’m very wary of anyone who believes they don’t need to do it. Our ability to compare subtle differences between alternatives is fragile and I really value the ability to swap between tracks (with no interruption) in the time it takes me to cancel one solo and engage the next.
