Digital audio is streaming between computer and mixer only through FireWire/Thunderbolt, or AVB, or Dante. These are all cable based solutions. Wireless ethernet can be used for control, for audio it would have much too much latency; BlueTooth is not on board. What you intend to do is impossible with the RM mixers. Unless you are using AVB or Dante, you can not send audio over ethernet.
What do you mean by saying that you "see" ethernet on any of the 32 channels? The channel settings (analog, firewire, network) only work with the corresponding technical surrounding. "Firewire" needs a FireWire connection and "Network" needs either an AVB network or a Dante network. It is more important what you "see" at the level meters (inputs and outputs)...
