I use markers... a lot. In fact, I rely on the use of markers to easily edit my music. The use of markers is a luxury on which I have become quite dependent. That is why I am dismayed to find that my ability to use markers seems to have broken, when I updated to version 3.3.4.41933 of Studio One Artist.
The exact nature of the problem is that, using my latest project as an example, I inserted no less than 19 markers. Each marker contained just simple, basic descriptions, such as: Verse One, Chorus One, Bridge, Verse Two, Chorus Two, Chorus Two Hats Start, Lead To End, etc. Nothing too fancy. But, out of the 19 markers I created, only a handful are present under the TRANSPORT > GOTO MARKER menu. The marker labels are present in the marker track, but they do not appear in the menu. This negates the very purpose of using markers. The issue seems to have started upon updating to the latest version of Studio One (version 3.3.4.41933). I can neither confirm, nor deny that the problem existed before the update, but in my personal experience, I did not seem to have the issue, until the update was installed.
Information about my system that may, or may not prove helpful:
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K @ 4.00 GHz
- RAM: 16 GB
- Operating System: Windows 10 Professional 64-bit
- Primary Storage: 2 TB 7200 RPM SATA (1.45 TB free)
- Version of Studio One: Artist Edition v. 3.3.4.41933 (usually using the 64-bit version)
- Additions: VST support added
- Audio Interface: ********* Firepower FCA1616 (USB)
If any of y'all have any insight as to what might be happening to my markers, I would certainly appreciate it. I await your answers with great anticipation.
