Hi if this can be set up already please let me know.

But when you connect to a RML, or any Ai mixer I guess, with an IPad or mac, you get full permission to control the mixer.  It is only when you go to alter that permission you have to enter a code.

Now I know someone first has to hack the router security, and have UC Surface on an iPad to do this.  But if you have to use a router other than yours, say yours has gone down and you hook onto the venues one for speed, UC Surface is now compromised. You cannot view already paired devices so you cannot delete them and anyone with the software just has total control, say the lead guitarist you just sacked!

So to add a level of Security could every new device have no permissions until you enter the code to give it to them? and maybe you would have automatic FOH to any pc FireWired direct to set it up.

Or maybe, at least a pop up when a device hooks up for the first time? Just so you get an indication a new user is online for you to check it?

Many Thanks
