Newbie question... XLR main out of mixer, should that then go to XLR Input of the AIR12 speaker or should it have an adaptor to be a 1/4 TRS input on speaker?  Does it matter? Best practice?

Both cables will be balanced, so the only difference/advantage would be that XLR would be/have a locking connection, which is nice in "live" setup.  Also, you can typically find XLR cables very long.  TRS is typically for "patching" unit to unit at close range.
