Can I use the MONO out on my SL to connect directly to a Subwoofer?

This balanced output carries a mono, summed version of the stereo signal from the main bus. There is no issue with using the MONO Output to connect to any external speaker, however, because this is a full-range output, you must connect it to a crossover before your connect it to a Subwoofer.  If your Subwoofer has a built-in crossover, you can connect the MONO out directly to it.
