I bought a pair of Eris 3.5 monitors for my small home studio. Obviously the frequency range is not ideal for mixing music, but I already had an Emotiva Ultra Sub-10.  I'm running an Avid Mbox with L+R balanced 1/4 inch outs to my speakers. Is there anyway to connect my sub to this as well?  The E3.5 only have one output: a pair of spring clips on the left speaker sending sound to the right speaker. It's there any way to connect my sub to my system?

Typically, a decent studio subwoofer (such as the M-Audio SBX10 shown below) offers you all the connectivity you need. Instead of connecting your Avid MBox to your Eris 3.5, you connect it to the L and R INPUTS of the sub. You then connect the L and R OUTPUTS of the sub to the L and R INPUTS of your left Eris 3.5 speaker. You can then control the crossover frequency between the sub and the speakers. However, I do understand that the Emotiva Ultra does not provide this type of connectivity.
