Hello. I'm pretty new to the recording game, and our band just got the Series iii Studio Live 16. I have Logic Pro, and had no trouble hearing the Scratch Track or click track (Output in Logic for scratch track set to "Stereo Output"), and I have the Mixer set up as my in/out device in both Logic and under System Preferences.

I have set up a channel with the input source as USB, and haven't been able to hear a thing out of it (raised the preamp gain, the channel fader, and the master fader, and don't have it assigned to any busses or sends, and my Logic Track isn't set to mute or anything and the Stereo Out Channel is showing volume, I just can't hear it through the mixer headphones.

Thanks in advance for any help for this noob (I looked through the user manual and didn't find anything about the USB connection and recording!).

First off, you need to designate which channels you want to hear computer playback from.

Let's say you want channels 15 and 16 to come from Logic.

1. Select Channel 15

2. Go to the 'Input section' and change it from Analog to USB

3.  Repeat steps 1 and 2 for Channel 16

4. Go to Logic and route the channels you want to go out of ASIO streams 15 and 16

Now, those channels will come up on Faders 15 and 16.

Hope this helps!
