Have Kontakt 5.XX and use this with my DAW, all works correctly in Kontakt as can assign different Midi channels and outputs without issue, My question is can I route the output from Kontakt (midi audio) to separate separate channels on the mixer ?
Setup:
- Reaper with 4 midi tracks
Receives configuration
Track 1 Kontakt All Midi
Track 2 Kontakt (Track 1) No Midi – Audio 1 - Input Stereo StudioLive Channel 1/Channel 2
Track 3 Kontakt (Track 1) No Midi – Audioi 2 Input Stereo StudioLive Channel 3/Channel 4
Track 4 Send No Audio - Midi 1
Track 5 Send No Audio – Midi 2
- Midi keyboard set to Midi 1
- Kontakt
ST1 Out 1 – Midi 1 (Flute)
ST2 Out 2 – Midi 2 (Oboe)
When keyboard set to Midi 1 and Firewire button for Channel 1 and Channel 2 engaged on StudioLive, Kontakt sound is played and can be recorded, however if Keyboard is switched to Midi 2, (Kontakt meters are active when played) and Firewire button for Channel 3 and Channel 4 engaged on Studio Live, no sound is heard.
Is this possible to send to separate channels on StudioLive ?
