Question

Im Using a windows Pc and honestly i wanna jump to linux Ubuntu, Linuxmint

but what makes me dont wanna jump in yet is because Studio one doesnt work on linux at all.

So please guys.. i would be more than happy if you make studio oen compatible with linux, not WINE or something shtty. Just complete compatibility as normal

Haven't used that specific software, so idea what it's really doing. But if it's just about some waveform transformation like pitching, that really shouldn't be the big deal (and there're several free libraries for that).

Unfortunately, they don't tell us the reasons, so we (the FOSS community) can't offer any help.

PreSonus AudioBox USB96  works like a charm on openSUSE 12.1

1. don't install any presonus software
2. plug it in
3. can now select it as input/output in lots of authoring software:
   • Audacity
   • Kdenlive
   • ScreenRecorder

im really hoping they port to linux.after all.. they did to mac so why not?

in this case.. i tried windows 11 twice now.. and hated it. i will never use it. ever. so im back to windows 10.

if it gets to a point where im forced  to use windows  11, where 10 is no longer supported by ms, etc, even though i own the most expensive version of studio one, i will stop using it and move to a daw on linux.

lets put it this way.. id buy a mac before i use windows  11... and im not buying another mac.

And please also make Studio 24C compatible with Linux!!! 

I have been given a PreSonus Studio 24C Interface, while using Linux Mint and Audacity. Researching, I got the impression, that it might be compatible with Linux, mainly due to this entry in the Linux community: https://linuxmusicians.com/viewtopic.php?t=22693

However, now I have issues setting up the system. When I plug the interface to my computer, there is a kind of connection, because in Audacity settings for MIDI Hardware I could set up Studio24C. Not in Hardware settings for playpack or recording though...

According to tech support Linux is not a supported operating system at this time.
