Question

iPad Pro and apple pen.  Handwriting recognition works fine up to a certain measure, then will not.

I write something and then nothing, just goes blank.

Anyone know what I have done to cause this?

Just noticed;  

This only occurs in continuous view.  Works fine in screen view.  

 I just don't like seeing so little of the score and would rather work in continuous...

I'm experiencing something similar on my Surface Pro 4. Handwriting recognition sometimes just refuses to work - and it seems to be only in continuous mode for me too. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.

It's now 2022 and nothing has changed, handwriting is randomly unrecognized in continuous mode on my iPad pro, too. This software seems abandoned, I'm so sorry for that.
