Clicking when increasing latency

Hi

Hope you are well and hope that there might be someone out there who experienced this same problem with their audiobox.

I installed my audiobox on a new laptop but the latency was at 256 (With the old laptop it was installed at 512) and as soon as I step up the latency, the audiobox starts clicking and the audio does not go through to the audiobox.

I have un-installed and re-installed it at least 4 times now with the same issue. I can still record but on some occasions the crackling on my recording software intensifies and it is impossible for me to record. I know this is due to the latency issue but as stated above, whenever I change the latency on the audiobox.... clicking... re-install and so on.

Hope to receive an answer soonest!!

Please do not use ASIO4ALL or any other device driver than the PreSonus driver.

Most often the problem with performance is due to computer issues and/or a good understanding of latency.

Please read the following article to familiarize yourself with how latency works and the impact on your system.

Hi!!

I use Reason 4

I have the exact same problem....I`m forced to use another driver because the Audiobox ASIO is not working. So the latency now is higher and I have the same clipping problems. I`m waiting a reply from Presonus but I saw this post and I wanted to ask if you managed to fix it?

Thanks!
