I have seen this connector labeled as 5-pin mini XLR but none I have seen have the locking ring. Some also have the five pins in a different arrangement and would be physically incompatible.

So who makes this connector and where can I buy it?

After some solid searching, I believe the connector is manufactured by Amphenol and is coded 'AG5FL'. I have not confirmed this.

Here's the manufacturer's page: http://www.amphenolaudio.com/products/mini-xlr/cable-connectors/g-type/
