I have been a long time fane of the studio live boards . I    Run an installation company for over 15 Years . I was recently working on an install for a client and had recommended the Studiolive 3 board . We received the unit I opened it and and was damaged . ( This unite was ordered directly from the factory ) . We had to let the client borrow our demo unit while the unit was replaced . I sent back the damaged one and Presonus sent me a new one . I open the box to review and there was no sign of damage and everything looked good . Plugged  it in and check the unite to make shore sound was coming out and everything was good. Then out of no where the unit cycled off and turn on by it self. The unit showed sound coming in but no sound coming out . I trouble shooted the unit to make shore something was not routed incorrectly , muted or disconnect but nothing worked . I even tried to reinstall the driver but nothing changed . So it looks like I have a bad unit . So now I have to return this unit again and get a new one from Presonus . Then to put the icing on the cake I just received a call that the Studiolive 3 board we let the client use while we are returning the bad units is freezing up during there use . This has been a very bad experience with this board . I get that a new board may have issues here or there but this is major issues . I am questioning the quality of this board. To have three back to back units be damage or defected concerns me as engineer . This has caused my company money having to send installers back in forth with these units have to reimburse money to the client for the inconvenience. Don't know if i would recommend this board . To many issues... When clients look to purchase something,  there looking for a good quality product at a fair price. If Presonus is looking to take the market and be the go to board (Mixer) these major issue needed to be address before hand.

You need to update your firmware. There have been numerous fixes in each release, some addressing potential mixer lock ups and other scene related problems.

I suggest doing a Factory Reset (user data erase) and then update the console to the latest firmware. Use all new scenes going forward.

We are having the same problems and more, the painting is falling into the fader master, we can not move from one scene to another without having lost data or lost configurations or part of the data does not correspond to the scene, the silver studio live 32 letters have been torn off and have sharp points.
We have updated to the latest version of the firmware and continue to experience serious stability problems and freezes in the middle of our presentations. Customer service helped us partially but after the FLEX DSP update the erratic problems continue. Very disappointed with Presonus
