Question

I have three tracks laid down.  Drums, guitar and voice.  The song has a section where the drums slow down, and I want to recreate this, but I cannot figure it out.  I've watched the videos and read the PDF on how to change tempo, but I can only get the entire song to change tempo, not just the drum track.  Thanks for any help!

P.S. I know I can just lay down the drum track individually and change the tempo, and THEN record the guitar and voice over the changing drum tempo, but that doesn't always come out perfectly.  It would be nice to just change individual tracks tempos.

Hi,

Look in the Track Inspector > Tempo field.   Only tracks that are set to Timestretch there (if the clips themselves also have a tempo value) will conform to song tempo changes, so if you don't want other audio racks changing with tempo, set them to a different setting there.
