How make Virtual Instruments work with Notion 6 ?

Hi,

First of all, I'm not an english speaking person, just forgive my bad writing to come...:)

I'm using Notion 6 for few weeks & started mouse writing score with (too few) native bass, guitar, piano (etc...) : so I downloaded some external VST (working in 64 bits only) & installed it on my C:directory,

If many of them are not sounding well (free DL), some sounds very nicely but...Notion 6 do not allowed to "work" external VST (except increasing, decreasing volume & few other things), but can't use "slap", "tremolo" and all other usefull effects,

In this way :

Is there a "special setting" I ignore to use all Notion 6's effects with external VST ?

Can you advice me some virtual instruments you're using & working well, (Acoustic Bass, Accordion, Derbuka, etc...) such as Soundiron, Garritan,  (Others full compatible ?) working with Notion 6, that can benefit "tremolo" & all other effects ?

Thank you 4 all your answers,

You will want to try using the UI for custom rules in Notion if you are working with third-party VST instruments.  Either that or use keyswitches to trigger your patches.  Here is a link to the knowledge base article from PreSonus on this issue.
