How do I "unlink" the two graphic EQs assigned to the L and R mains in Universal Control while using a Studiolive 16R?

I need to run the L and R main outputs form my Studiolive 16R to two different banks of speakers, each of which require different graphic EQ settings.  I'm probably missing something obvious, but I can not seem to find a way to "toggle" between the L and R main graphic EQs in Universal Control; they appear to be linked.

Is toggling possible or are they permanently linked?

I will be mixing from stage using UC Surface on an Apple iPad.  My mixer is a Studiolive 16R.  All software has been updated to the latest versions.

Thanks in advance for any and all help... Mike

P.S.  I just realized that I can't even independently adjust the levels for the L and R main outputs.  If someone can explain how to do this, it will probably help me figure out the answer to my first question!

Hi mikeiverson,

Did you get this settled? I just picked up an R16 myself and am having issues with the GEQ even working! I make all sorts of changes and nothing seems to change. It is on, L and R are assigned but RTA shows a signal going to it but nothing I do changes the sound...

Hi!

had the same problem, In the top left corner of the GEQ there is a Power button. You have to activate this to get the GEQ to Work.

Paulaasan - The problem wasn't activating the "power button" for the graphic EQ, it was how to set up separate graphic EQs for the left and right main outputs.  It seems silly that this feature wasn't built into the software, but I did find a workaround (but it's a hardware solution).

I run my L and R main outputs into a duel 31 band DBX graphic EQ and use it to "ring out" my main speakers...
