Using an AKG 414 mic plugged into a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 2.

Studio One sees the device as I/O, (one channel in, 2 channels out)

but the "Apply" button is grayed out and when I try to record, nothing happens.

SS2 plugged in through USB on a Win 10 laptop.

Audacity user testing Studio One before switching over. The hardware works in Audacity and in Adobe Audition, and Reaper, and Izotope RX6. (not using Reaper because the learning curve killed me in the test phase, and AA does not have a good PNR function.

Please make sure you have the Focusrite Scarlett ASIO driver installed, then select it in Studio One > Options > Audio Setup. Test.

If the issue remains, please create a ticket to technical support.
