I'm a drummer and would like to create my own drum set / drum kit charts.  I would also like to import drum set / drum kit charts from other songs and be able to view and play them on my iPad.  Does this app allow you that type of functionality

The Notion for iOS app will allow you to compose for a drum set with up to 4 voices.  There is not a demo of the Notion for iOS app, but there is a demo available for Notion 6 for desktop.  You may want to create an account at my.presonus.com and download the demo from within your account.  This may help you get an idea of what the drum notation is like in the Notion for iOS app.
