Air 10 speaker 1/8" aux input- is it controlled by Ch 2 volume knob, or is it a separate input entirely?

I'm interested in using the 1/8" as a 3rd input, and controlling levels on the device itself. But is that jack connected to the combo jack for ch 2, and hence, it's levels are controlled by the Ch 2 volume knob?
