Hello, Does anyone have any experience with using an Antelope Discrete 8 interface with Studio One 3.5? Or any Antelope interface for that matter?.

My Studio Live 16.0.2 died a few weeks ago (inputs 1 - 12 no longer working) and I am considering the Antelope Discrete 8 as my replacement interface. I don't do any live sound, just studio work so a rack mount interface is what I'm looking for. I have also tried out (rented out the equipment for a week) a Studio 192 Mobile and a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 interface. In my setup, with my speakers (Event Opal) the Focusrite sounds to crisp, too much high end (not in a good way) and the Studio 192 significantly lacks in low end. This is compared to my 16.0.2 which sounds the best by far of the 3 interfaces (it plays back, but can't record because the inputs are all dead). But I don't need a physical mixer, and I did not like the sound of the Studio 192 or the Scarlett, so right now I'm looking at the Discrete 8, or the Orion Studio rev2017.

Running Windows 7 right now, but might be forced to upgraded to Windows 10 as some interfaces (Antelope) don't have win7 usb drivers.

Thank you !!

I just purchased a Discrete 8 and am trying now to set it up in Studio One 3.5.6 and not having much luck yet.  I am a complete noob, so don't take my experience as gospel.  I came to the forums here and on Youtube to help me with set-up and routing.  No luck yet, but I will keep plugging away until I get somewhere.
