I expect that the advantage will be driven more by the audio interface than by the software, itself. If your audio interface supports USB 3, then it will be able to take advantage of whatever services USB 3 provides. However, if it's a USB 2 interface, then a USB 3 port will still treat it as a USB 2 device, and you will gain no particular advantage.
