I just scratched the surface with starting recording with my new Presonus Audio Box 96 USB interface (bundle) with studio one. I've used pro tools about a decade ago so I have some idea of how the system works. Just got the latency correct to remove the delay but now I have the annoying minor crackling in the background when recording voice. My laptop is solid state hard drive, plenty of CPU and memory available so I really do not think the laptop is the issue, however my usb's are 3.0, and from what I've read the audio box usb 96 is best used on usb 2.0, and usb 3.0 may introduce this crackling issue. I have to think there are 1000's of people who have purchased this system using 3.0 usb's in this day and age so I cannot be the only one experiencing this issue. I appreciate any and all feedback on this, and thank you in advance!!!!
