Question

It's rather clumsy to only be able to add patterns using the menu. (Or copy / paste them.)

Is there any other way to add patterns using a dedicated tool (draw it)??

I would suggest the following:

- add a pattern pencil that allows drawing patterns
- to choose which pattern to draw display a list of available patterns in the inspector (or elsewhere) where you can select one and hence draw this one

Would be great!

An alternative for the menu is using Alt+double click with the arrow tool selected.
