Provide a play function for a pattern that is open that only plays and loops that pattern. This will alleviate the need to set loop points in the overall track, then solo. Its a huge time saver especially when using multiple patterns/instruments in different parts of a song/work.
I have seen this as a question that doesn't appear to be answered, but it was not posted as a feature request. Sonar used to have this function and it was very helpful.
