Question

SONAR user here -- for over 10 years. Never had a problem with linking MIDI instruments, sound modules and MIDI interfaces.

I have read the manual, numerous similar questions. Followed instructions. Watched videos. Tried different variations. Installed latest MIDI driver from Yamaha.

For some reason Studio One simply fails to recognize my Yamaha MIDI keyboard as a output target. SONAR does. Output options always register "None."

Maybe I'm missing something too obvious. If I can't get it to perform basic comms with my instruments....

Please follow the steps in the reference manual Setup > Setup Your Midi Devices for setting up an External Instrument Device.  If that doesn't work please create a support ticket and also include an image of that device's setup panel in your ticket.
