If I buy a pair of PA speakers with the intent of installing them in a flown capacity, how do you recommend powering them on and off, as they will be out of reach to power using the on board switch? I have to assume that cutting power apart from the speakers would kill any on board power-down sequence and may even always cause them to have a pop. I guess the bigger question is can they even be effectively flown due to a need to power down only with the on board switch?

We recommend using a low voltage RPC (remote power control). Many manufacturers of power conditioners carry this type of device. It’s also recommended to use the ones with built in surge protection.
