Issue in Project of random song files not playing?

Yesterday I opened up my “project” file that has all my songs in it..everything was fine..I went from song to song, and I realized that 3 songs in a row wouldn’t play any audio, but would register on all the visuals...as if audio was playing, but it wouldn’t play..only way I could get them to play again was to delete them, and go to “import song” and import again...

I thought it was a 1 time issue, but  later right before I was going to close the project, I noticed 2 more were not working, 1 of the same ones and one completely different ones, like 6 songs away from that one..every other one still played..so I had to delete and re-add again...

This will get annoying if I have to do this every time I open up a “project”

Anyone else have this issue or can tell me how to stop it from happening or how to remedy it?

-Try going into Documents>Studio One>Songs>Your song name and delete the "cache" folder.  Do this with Studio One closed and then re-load the song.

-Make sure that you are running the latest build of your version of Studio One that you are working with.

-Try removing settings files from the program and re-configure.

  1. Go to Help>Open Settings folder.

  2. Copy the contents of the folder over to a folder on your desktop.

  3. Close S1 and delete the contents of the settings folder with the exception of the user.license file as well as the "Extensions" folder.

  4. Open S1 and go to Studio One>Options (Preferences on a Mac) to reconfigure your settings.

  5. Test to see if the problem is resolved. If it is not, please feel free to copy your settings files back over from the backup that you created in step 2.

*If you are missing presets or Sound Sets after doing this, simply double-click one of your Sound Sets under Documents>Studio One>Sound Sets.

-If the issue persists, try re-installing the driver for your audio interface.  Make sure that your song is running at a sample rate that is supported by your device.
