i use a StudioLive 16.4.2AI with 16 line in. the newe StudioLive 16 have only 8 line in and 8 mic in. i use StudioLive 16.4.2 for mix 8 audio devices (16 Line in Stereo) , on the master i have a sonos connect for play the sound in the sonos system. I want buy the new StudioLive 16. The new StudioLive 16 have only 8 mic and 8 Line In. Can i use the same devices also with the mic in and bundle thr mic chanels stereo or is the sound quality on a mic channel different to a line in  channel?

You can use a DI box to convert the line input to a XLR to use the on the XLR input on the Series III mixer to make the connection.
