Although S1 4.5 has brought some level of syncing the track list in the midi editor/piano roll and the track list in the project window, the way it's working now is a bit confusing or it has some kind of bug.
I suggest that clicking on the left side of the track name in the track list of the editor activates the track (just as it is now). Clicking in the middle would activate the corresponding track/record enable/monitor in the project window and solo for editing in the editor (solo blue pencil). Clicking in the pencil would allow to select multiple pencils for editing multiple parts at the same time.
