Just bought the Audio Batch Convertor as it was on special! It's great, but would be even more powerful if MP3s could be tagged.

Scenario 1. Mixdown with clients in studio, pressed for time. Either - bounce mix twice, once for WAV and once for their MP3 copy for Dropbox or whatever. Later corrections to mix mean entire process done over. OR, put all mixes in Project after completed, and export a "release" as MP3 duly tagged. Again repeated process if changes to some mixes. OK, not the end of the world but an added messing about. If in Batch Convertor one could simply drag the Mixdown folder in and export to MP3 with the tags, well, that would be a big time saver.

Scenario 2. Archived albums as WAVs, or imported CDs etc - one setup in Audio Batch Convertor to add artist, year, album etc and it's down to MP3 in a jiffy.

Thoughts?

Hi Scardanelli,

This page came up on Google when I was looking for an answer to the same question.

I edit audiobooks and getting the auto-leveling capability of ABC was one of the reasons for my finally joining Sphere last week. Let's hope your dream and mine of retained mp3 tags will soon come true. For now, I'll continue also using your Scenario 1.

At least I don't have clients in the room while I work, so I can get up and make coffee while the computer cranks out all those conversions.
