How do I control the input signal to my Temblor 10?

I have a monitor station v2, and have very successfully connected A/B monitors (HS7s and Focal Shape 50's) and connect my Temblor 10 subby to channel C. All works as intended and I can engage/disengage the sub with A/B monitors as expected.

However: I have 3 monitor sets - 2 in my control room and 1 in the live room for playback.

I have then connected my Quantum Main Outs --> Sub in --> Sub out --> Monitor Station v2 Inputs (ST1) thus sending sub signal through all 3 monitor outs on MSv2.  Success - sub on all signal paths, and I can disengage the sub with the footswitch. Works great.

The problem: 1) I now have to turn my input gain on the sub all the way down to -30dB or I quickly get overwhelmingly loud signal from the sub!
2) The only other volume control I have to the sub is now through the Quantum Main volume control which sits at about 3 o'clock.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to better control how much signal is going through the Sub?
