I have Studio One 2 Arist for PC (x64).  I was given a pair of Steelseries Siberia 800 wireless headphones.  The headphones are set up as the main output for everything else one my computer but will not work with Studio one.

I am wondering if I can change it over to the Steelseries headphones because I hate using the ones that came with the presonus audio box.

These headphones a USB Audio adapter that sync's to the headphones with it's own wireless protocol.

Windows and Studio One will display this as "USB Audio Device" in Sounds Control Panel, and not by the name of the product.

If you have other audio devices enabled on your system such as HDMI Audio, etc you have to select your Headphone adapter as the default Playback device in Windows sound control panel first. If it's not the default device, select it then click "Set Default" button before hitting "OK"

In Studio One Audio device setup, select "Windows Audio".

If you have selected Windows Audio as your default device as advised in the last step, then your device should already be pre-selected to be default Windows Audio device. To be sure in Studio One, you can click on "Control Panel" next "Windows Audio" selection in Audio Device Setup and make sure it's selected as the default device, if not check it for both Playback and Recording.

Keep in mind that this device does not have ASIO support, it is Windows Latency dependent ~512 samples (or about 1/2 a second).or worse. If you try to use it for real time audio recording and monitoring, your latency will be terrible. Disable the monitor while recording so you're not thrown off by the huge delay of audio in to audio out. Playback should be ok. Record your audio, to hear it, play it back.

For best case results in low latency real time audio monitoring with effects, consider investing in an AudioBox USB 96 to get real time low latency bit accurate audio and it comes with a newer version of Studio One. You can then use these same headphones with the analog line cable with a 1/4" adapter so you can still use the headphones albeit not wirelessly.
