Studiolive 16.0.2: how to connect external effects (comp or reverb) and using it on a channel? Using the AUX output?

Hi,

I want to use an external hardware compressor. How do I connect them? I tried AUX output->Input Compressor and Output Compressor->Input on any channel. It does not work
