How can I get a plug in or effect for my studio one 4 artist? I hear that you HAVE to pay another 80 bucks for vst plugin functionality is that true or is there another way?

Studio One Artist comes with Sample One XT.  You could chop up your vocal track, load it into Sample One XT and then use both midi notes and pitch automation to emulate that T-Pain autotune effect.  You would have to experiment with different ways of modulating the pitch to get the desired effect. The bonus is that In the process of experimentation you might discover something new that sounds different but amazing.
