Good day,

I just wanted to ask since the start of the whole lockdown from where I am, I had a hard time getting the proper cables to use for my recently purchased eris 4.5's. As some sort of a default to immediately start mixing my projects on Logic Pro X. I have been using the cable provided which was the 3.5 to 3.5mm jack, plugged it start from my macbook's earphone plug and through AUX IN. Now that I have been able to purchase my much needed cables and rca to 6.35 jacks and also used my audio interface (recently back from the dead), i plugged it through both RCA (unbalanced and through the balanced plugs using converters). I found a noticeable difference on the sound production, RCAs tend to muffle the sound abit as compared when it was straight out of the macbook earphone plug.

Could anyone care to suggest if the best way to have a go at this is trust the M-Audio Fast Tracks sound to the macbook earphone plug? Does the macbook pro have an equalizer when you use its plug which could be counterproductive to my mixes?

Thank you!
