Question

I have major issues with my laptop and i am performing a fresh install which may require me to wipe the system that i have just activated my studio one software. Please can you tell me that this would not affect the current number of activations with the serial key as it's with the same system.?

I have no answer to your question. But what about first you deactivate the licence from your computer (you can do that from your account I believe) do what you have to do and then activate the license back as if it was a new machine?

It will not affect the number of activations.  You can log into your Presonus account at anytime and remove an activation even after performing a fresh install on your laptop.  Just log into your account, go to Manage Activations, and then click remove.
