We run a live music streaming show with a 24R as our mixer. We use OBS to send the video stream from a Roland video switcher and use the 24R directly in OBS. We use UC Control to mix the audio. Because UC Control doesn't have any keyboard equivalent functions, stream Deck is not able to control it. Using the Stream Deck to mute certain channels at certain times would be a huge process improvement.

I upvoted the request because production now is all about efficiency. The current state of Universal Audio is antiquated. There is no scripting or remote control. Sadly, recording mouse clicks with Mac OS's Automator just logs the UA window in focus. I am just one person controlling multiple computers with multiple apps. Efficiency = gestures + multi-action scripting. That is what Stream Deck offers.

I use StudioLive 16R every day. I am also currently building a system at our sister site. I removed the 16R from the purchase list only because it did not have any automation functionality. Soundcraft is getting my attention now. Presonus, you need to fix this to keep your rack mixers relevant and competitive.

We use a StudioLive 24R in our church every week.  We have our main set to our church speakers, but we utilize an aux out for our "streaming" audio that gets sent to our OBS setup for YouTube/Facebook streaming.  As I switch on/off different mics or instruments, I use the scene selection.  I would love for any StreamDeck integration to allow for scene selection.

The Presonus StudioLive 32R is the centerpiece of our studio business. We are now branching into live streaming and have much of our workflow automated. One glaring exception is managing our audio mixing. I would love to see the UC Control opened up for automation. Barring that, is the UCNET protocol documented anywhere? I'm a developer so I have no problem with writing my own control widgets if necessary.

Days where studio was full of people with separate person for every station, are gone. These days even large broadcast studios are expected to be handled by one single person pushing buttons on streamdeck.

Only on larger productions is it expected to have separate person on audio duty.

This is why automation over MIDI and OSC or other OPEN standard is to be expected from mixing consoles. StudioLive series has nothing in terms of automation or custom control solutions or API... And you're almost alone on that front.

You HAVE to add OSC and/or MIDI  support on UC-control... Or better yet, directly to the mixer control port.

Please?

Anyone know if this is still coming?  i.e.  Stream Deck functionality with UC?
