Hi

Thanks for the answer Wesley.

Yes I got as far as you describe, thank you. But the problem is there are only 4 'KT Aux' tracks as they are the stereo outs from Kontakt. (To say nothing of the ridiculously confusing name they give them!).

I have 7 Stereo instruments loaded; so..

Inst 1 uses the only named Stereo output from Kontakt (Stereo Out 1/2)

Inst 2, 3, 4 & 5 use the 4 KT Aux 1-4 outputs (Which despite being called Aux 1-4 are actually the Stereo outs!!!!

So I still have 2 Stereo instruments to make visible to Studio One. They are there, but as 4 single mono outs which have to be selected in the mixer and then panned left right etc. I real kludge. Rather than being a stereo source controlled by a single stereo fader like the other 5.

If anybody can help me get the other 2 (or more if I need them in the future) stereo outs to show up correctly that would be great

Kontakat player really is a pile of ****...

Cheers

Mark

I dig a bit of digging. Thanks to http://forumsarchive.presonus.com/posts/list/34218.page I think it's figured out. You'll want to create multiple stereo outs. But the catch is you need to save it as the default for Kontakt. It won't show as channels in the current instance but will if you start a new one. Instructions --> In Kontakt, click the plus sign next to outputs above the mixer.  Quantity is the amount of stereo tracks you want, I would just set that to 15. Leave the channels at 2, unless you want mono or surround. Soundcard/ Host Output leave " --not connected--". Check the box "Ascending Output Assignment".  Check the box next to "Make this your default configuration". Click ok. Remove that instance of Kontakt and start a new one. If you look at the Instruments in Studio One you now should have multiple stereo outs on the new instance of Kontakt. Hope that works for you and have a great day.
