Question

I love using Studio One 4/5 but would it be possible to put into a standalone system?  For example like a cross between the Akai Force and MPC Live?   Where you get all the power and ability to record/produce but don't have access to computer or computer crashes.  And even to take with you.  Could run with batteries and also connect up with the computer/internet and transfer between standalone and computer.   I mention the Akai Force because of ability to play directly on and can transfer between Ableton and MPC Live because it has easy portability to produce anywhere and don't need cables and even a electrical outlet.   I don't mean for Presonus to just copy these but they could come up with their own system.   Just imagine having a portable,( non computer or need to connect to a network), full version Studio One 5 and beyond that could connect midi instruments,  record audio/digital instruments and effects, production effects,  controllers and so much more than I can think of.   It can connect with the computer...hold on storage, have internal speakers and headphones.....and so much more..... editing.... taking it with you on vacation or just to the park for when inspiration strikes... anyway you get the idea....    Just wondering how about that?  I would ****** that up in a heart beat.  And best of all , if and when computer/internet fails then still able to use and create until fixed.  It could even possibly have a built-in cd burner.
