I would like to record my euphonium using Studio One and my Audiobox 96 USB. I was advised to record low brass instruments as my euphonium using both a directional mic and a condensor mic simultaneously. But I am afraid that the phantom power will damage the directional Peavey PVM50 mic. Both microphones work individually fine on my gear (the CM1 with 48V on and the PVM50 without phantom power), but I never tried them together. Many thanks for your advise!
