Why is something blocking my TRS cable from fully inserting into my right main out on my studio1824 interface?

I just purchases some new KRK monitors and had never hooked up any monitors to my interface until now. The left instrument cable insert fully into the jack but the right stops 3/4 of the way and it seems there is a metal piece blocking the jack.
