I am connecting a RML16AI and a RM16AI via a SW5E avb switch in order to cascade them. However, when I open up the mixers interface with Univeral Control (via firewire) and look at the network section neither mixer will recognise each other, so when i click on the drop down menu under cascade it says "no slave." I have tried introducing a router to the network and setting both mixers to dynamic IP and also removed the router and chosen self assigned static IP but nothing makes a differance. All firmware is up to date. Also, interestingly when I connect a cs18ai to the switch it will recognise both mixers and allow me to control both. The other thing is if I try to connect to the mixers through the router (ethernet or wireless) with UC the launch screen will show both mixers but if I click on either they wont open and instead simply show the loading sign going around. Does anyone know what the problem could be?
