Hi, I have a need. I’ll explain my problem. I always recorded with Presonus Studio Channel Preamp and now I would like to try to change the way I work. Basically, I would like to bypass the internal Preamp of my Studio Channel to use the UAD Avalon VST. In a nutshell, I’d like to use the Studio Channel, just as a device to manage the overall voice volume. If it is not possible to bypass the preamp, is it still possible to make my Studio Channel as flat as possible? So I can apply my UAD Channel Strip Avalon vst (All this, so as not to have a double preamplification). I hope you understand and can help me. Thanks =)

The Studio Channel is based on the Presonus BlueTube pre-amplifier. On the BlueTube, if your Tube Overdrive knob is turned down to zero, then the unit will default to its XMAX pre-amp which is very transparent. So I assume the same is true for the Studio Channel.
